Normally, the bottom line of a cheque consists of three numbers - the routing, account, and cheque numbers. These numbers are separated by colons and other symbols. The routing number is usually the left-most of these numbers and is displayed in the bottom-left corner of the cheque. The account number is normally to the right of the routing number. The cheque number can be found in either (or both of) the top or bottom right hand corners of the cheque. In addition, this information can often be found on your cheque book.
