ECash Direct Debit Card Deposits

Before you can Deposit by Debit Card

If you have already registered your debit card, you are ready to deposit funds. If not, you need to register your debit card.

You can deposit funds to your ECash Direct account quickly and easily by Debit Card. The entire transaction is processed electronically - online. We accept Maestro, Solo, Laser, Delta and Visa Debit. All transactions are in British Pounds Sterling.

Click the Deposit button from the ECash Direct Screen
Choose By Debit/Credit Card from the Deposit Method drop-down box.
Enter the amount you wish to deposit in the Amount box.
Click the Proceed button.
On the confirmation screen click Confirm to complete the transaction.

Deposit Limits

Current deposit limits are also displayed within the Transaction Term Summary at the right-hand side of the ECash Direct Debit Card Deposit screen. This screen will contain the most current information for the merchant you are using ECash Direct with.

If you would like to increase your debit card deposit limit beyond the levels shown above please send a blank e-mail message to credit.request@ecashdirect.co.uk. Specific instructions will be forwarded to your E-mail address.

Deposit limits are calculated based on:

all of your debit cards registered within the ECash Direct system,
all of your ECash Direct accounts within the ECash Direct system.

This rule applies whether you have:

one account and one debit card or;
multiple accounts and one debit card; or,
one account and multiple debit cards.

Your weekly deposit limit will increase with any withdrawals you may process. There is a maximum to how much you can deposit in one week even with withdrawals. Contact us for more information.

Processing Rules

Transactions are generally completed within one minute of being entered. The withdrawn funds are transferred to your debit card immediately. Depending on the bank that you use, they will post your funds to your account within the next 3 to 5 business days. There is no fee for using this service.

Transaction Reporting

It is important to keep a record of all of your debit card deposits. To help you maintain these records you should be aware that your debit card deposits are recorded and reported on your debit card statement and your ECash Direct statement.

Debit card deposit transactions are normally displayed on your debit card statement as from ECash Direct. In some cases, the freephone telephone number is displayed along with the name of the company.

Debit card deposit transactions are displayed on your ECash Direct statement as CCD.

Currency Conversion

For Credit/Debit Cards, we provide you with the option of paying in your own currency.

We provide a competitive exchange rate, presented upfront in the payment method interface. Should you choose to pursue this service, the transaction will be processed on your payment method immediately using the exchange rate provided. In case you would like the payment provider to perform the currency exchange for you, the transaction will be posted to your card when processed by your issuing bank while the exchange rate and any additional fees will be determined by your issuing bank.
