Moneybookers is a new payment method available for ECash Direct account deposits and withdrawals. It is an online wallet that can be funded by a variety of payment methods (e.g. credit card, bank account).
Once a player has registered with Moneybookers, an ECash Direct transaction can be initiated immediately. Moneybookers will deduct the requested deposit amount from the registered deposit mechanism at the time of request. For more information on Moneybookers, please visit www.moneybookers.com.
Registering a Moneybookers Account
If you do not have a Moneybookers account, visit www.moneybookers.com, choose your language from the country flags displayed at the top right hand corner of the screen and click "REGISTER" and follow the on-screen instructions.
Once you have completed the registration process at the Moneybookers website, you will receive a unique login and password.
Depositing with Moneybookers into ECash Direct
- Visit the ECash Direct screen in your online merchant and click "Deposit".
- Choose Moneybookers.
- Enter the amount you would like to transfer from your registered deposit method in Moneybookers to your ECash Direct account.
- Click "Proceed".
- Enter your Moneybookers Username which is the email address you registered with Moneybookers as your login.
- Review your transaction and click "Confirm".
Approved funds will be immediately credited to your ECash Direct account for use at your selected merchant.
*Note: Only one Moneybookers account can be used per ECash Direct account - once you have successfully deposited using a Moneybookers account, that same Moneybookers account must be used for all future deposits and withdrawals to that ECash Direct account.
Current deposit limits are displayed within the Transaction Terms Summary at the right-hand side of the Deposit to ECash Direct account screen. There is a maximum to how much you can deposit and withdraw per transaction - Moneybookers determines the maximum per transaction limit and ECash Direct determines the maximum funds available for withdrawal. It is important to keep a record of all of your Moneybookers transactions with your ECash Direct account. To help you maintain these records you should be aware that your Moneybookers deposits and withdrawals are recorded and reported on your ECash Direct statement as MBD and MBW respectively.
- Enter the amount you wish to deposit in the currency of your ECash Direct account (not your Moneybookers account currency) and click Proceed.
- Provide us with your Moneybookers account information and confirm your request.
- ECash will forward your request to Moneybookers for processing and Moneybookers will perform any currency conversion required.
- Upon successful confirmation from Moneybookers:
- ECash will credit your ECash account the amount you requested in Step 2; and
- Moneybookers will debit your Moneybookers account the converted amount as per Moneybookers currency conversion in Step 4.
Let us illustrate with a simple example.
Example #1:
- You are a Moneybookers EUR account holder and want to make a 100.00 EUR deposit to your USD ECash account.
- You have estimated that a 100.00 EUR deposit is approximately 120.00 USD (example only).
- Enter 120.00 as the USD amount you wish to deposit on the Moneybookers deposit page in the Cashier and click Proceed.
- Provide us with your Moneybookers account information and confirm your request.
- ECash will forward your 120.00 USD request to Moneybookers for processing and Moneybookers will perform any currency conversion required.
- Upon successful confirmation from Moneybookers:
- ECash will credit your ECash account the 120.00 USD you requested in Step 2; and
- Moneybookers will debit your Moneybookers account the converted amount as per Moneybookers currency conversion in Step 4 (100.00 EUR).
