ECash Direct Cheque Withdrawals

You can withdraw funds from your ECash Direct account by cheque. To withdraw funds from your ECash Direct account, specify the amount of withdrawal, then choose the currency you wish to receive these funds.

Withdrawing funds by Cheque

  1. To perform a Cheque Withdrawal, click the Withdraw button on the ECash Direct screen
  2. Choose By Cheque from the Withdrawal Method drop-down box.
  3. Enter the amount you wish to withdraw in the Amount box.
  4. In the Currency drop-down menu, choose the currency in which you wish to receive these funds (US Dollars, British Pounds, Euro).
  5. Click the Proceed button.
  6. In the confirmation screen choose Confirm to complete the transaction.
Transactions are generally completed within one minute of being entered.

Withdrawal Limits are in place.

Processing Rules

There may be a small fee per transaction for using this service. Please visit the Transaction Terms Summary section of the Cheque withdrawal page for more details. This fee is waived for customers with a balance less than 20.00 USD (US currency account) or 20.00 GBP (Pounds Sterling currency account) or 20.00 EUR (Euro currency account) and withdraw the entire balance

A cheque will be sent to your mailing address via regular mail within seven working days following your request. Requests for cheque withdrawals exceeding 1000.00 USD or currency equivalent will result in a cheque being sent to your mailing address via FedEx at no additional charge to you. FedEx will not deliver to post office boxes.

You may not withdraw funds that have been deposited to your ECash Direct account by cheque deposit until a period of 30 days from that time has elapsed or until the cheque is cleared by both banks.

Transaction Reporting

It is important to keep a record of all of your cheque withdrawals. To help you maintain these records you should be aware that your cheque withdrawals are recorded and reported on your bank statement and your ECash Direct statement.

Cheque withdrawal transactions are normally displayed on your bank statement as from ECash Direct. In some cases, the toll free telephone number is displayed along with the name of the company.

Cheque withdrawal transactions are normally displayed on your ECash Direct statement as CHW.

Cheque withdrawal fees are normally displayed on your ECash Direct statement as CHI.
